The performance

On the 29th of August 2026, under the liberating yet revelatory glow of the August Full Moon, as part of the event series "Under the Moonlight" organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Ephorate of Antiquities of the Cyclades, took place the performance “ékho phoné" written, conceived, and directed by Pavlos Addimando, performed by Denia Mimerini, with original music by Sotiris Mytakidis.

In the magical, welcoming setting of the Archaeological Museum of Serifos in the "Perseus" building with the invaluable support and assistance of the esteemed curator of antiquities, Mr. Giorgos Gavalas, somewhere between the statues, between past and present, a statue came alive and gave voice to unspoken truths of centuries time. In a parallel dimension suffused with her lunar majesty, "Aliki" hosted her radio broadcast for her listeners that this time were... the people in the audience who stated present on this magical night.

Balancing between laughter and tears, the modern and the timeless, the deeply personal and the universally human, the monologue gave voice to every creature that had remained silenced, while the light of the Full Moon shone triumphantly, drawing humanity and "togetherness" away from the dense darkness of the present.
