Inspiration — how Serifosland began on the island of Serifos
Manifesto
The story begins during the Covid pandemic, when I was deeply missing my island. I wanted to go, but with so many restrictions in place, it was impossible for a long time. I found myself in Athens, Greece during lockdown, and that was when I began to observe and reflect deeply on the darkness that had started to descend in our society like a great veil.
I had to take action.
I brought the healing energy of the island into my mind and heart, and that is how I envisioned an eterotopia, a refuge for all of us. Another space, initially a digital one, created through the narrative of the energy and my love for the Island.
serifosland has something to tell you about all those things you know you have heard and read before, but with kindness, passion, dedication, and love.
Ultimately, are we sure that we have truly tried one more time? Or perhaps, to read a word with a different perspective?
For me, the inspiration is people, arts and the human relationship with the universe. How we all connect, is a true form of art.
